Since late spring 2011 Joakim is a proud member of Young Entrepreneurs of Sweden. YEoS is a nation wide network for Sweden's foremost young entrepreneurs below 30 years. The network consist of 160 members and has a couple of regional and national meetups every year.

24 Hour Business Camp

#24hbc is Sweden's largest and most luxury hackathon taking place at Yasuragi Spa Hotel outside Stockholm, Sweden. Joakim has been participating two times:
1. The first one Joakim built a WordPress plugin for shared revenue on article based websites letting the authors get money from their content contribution. (2009)
2. The second time he teamed up with Gustaf Josefsson and Johan Sandén to build Riksdagsrösten – "See how swedish politicians vote on different issues. And vote yourself." (2011)
